I am a qualified mathematics teacher and commercial pilot, and have designed this website as a space to write about travel, topics of interest and to share knowledge and ideas.
My background is varied. I hold a BSc in Mathematics, an LLB in Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Mathematics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and the Legal Practice Course, giving me a broad academic foundation. In addition, I have over 15 years’ experience in regulatory roles within the asset management industry, which I hope to draw upon in future finance-related posts.
Alongside this, I work casually as a lifeguard and duty manager, as well as a probationary lifeguard trainer/assessor, pool plant operator, and swimming teacher and hope to discuss some of the experiences and challenges faced by lifeguards.
